A Twitch Streamer's Worst Nightmare

Swatting is all too familar with creators, small and large. As time has gone on the “prank” of sending armed police officers to a creator’s home has become all too common. It’s happened to the likes of Nickmerc’s, xQc, and even smaller creators like PixelxKitten who has had a recent run in with being swatted. Not every swatting case ends in a simple misunderstanding and the results can be incredibly tragic. It’s a practice that needs to stop and that can only happen with switfer punishments as well as putting in place easier ways to find perpetrators.
