-What does this mean for me?

1.) v.17 They ask what they don't want to hear/ Wanting everyone to agree with them
-We should accept differences and not try to silence people who disagree
2.) v.18-19 They reinforced their error in their minds and refused to listen
-We should be careful not to fall into the trap of being wrong and being arrogant about it
3.) v.20-23 His parents were afraid of the leaders
-We should be dedicated to truth and God not a worldly system
4.) v.24-25 They wanted him to renounce Jesus, he refused
-We should remember what Jesus has done for us, and count no threat or shame as too much
-We should clearly give our testimony to all who will listen
