"I wouldna done it!" You sure? (Matthew 23:29-39)

Didn't intend it to be the fun of the verse when I started but it's not from me, so my intent is more than free to go out the window in the place of Do.
I know it is hard to see hope or light in this world, with media, and so many other places and constant voices saying to hate, to fear, to dislike the "other" and get rid of them. "Send them to jail for not being part of my tribe", it can be hard to believe for a moment that there is peace let alone a chance for freedom from this world's darkness and evil ways. It's broken, broken people break people. Broken people break things. We can take a stance of humility and realize that we Need HIM and that without HIM we are the broken breaking the broken, or we can pretend we are free of sin and struggle and act as though we know better than God. It's a blunt way to put it, yeah, and truth be told, the God I'm talking about looks nothing like pretty much every agnostic person who grew up in "church". I know it may seem like I'm talking in riddles, perhaps even hard to believe that there is a place for lying down the arms and picking up a place of hope and love. This is the odd place of real revolutionary behaviour we are called to have. Not working for and not working against. Walking forward and working for the benefit of others; showing that we are against spirits and structures, principalities and abominations that set themselves up as god. Dying in the place of those who don't know who our GOD is yet. Walking through the dark places in a state of trust, because our DADDY will never let us go.
