Controversial tactics, which will prove an asset to the orchids being repotted in this video. I am potting up aerial roots, even if they are not in active growth. Aerial roots on orchids that are in active growth will adapt to a change in environment as the velamen changes it's characteristics while the root is growing. Inactive aerial roots, the velamen characteristics do not change in their make up. But here I am potting up orchid aerial roots and explain my strategy!
