Lessons from a fig tree. (Matthew 24:3-50)

I wanted to go with a clickbait title at first, mostly jokingly, but it wouldn't fit at all.
We are meant to be a generation, each generation is, expecting in hope for HIM, JESUS, Yeshua, to come home, returning to this world and making the broken whole; a healer, The Healer we are all in desperate need of. An age of medicine and we've never been sicker, sadly ironic. We have probably all wondered when and how, anyone who's every been in awe at the Beauty of HIS hand and broken hearted at the pain and sickness in this world has probably asked that question, "Why are You allowing "this" to happen God?!?" This is it right here, the birth pains. Almost as if one a contraction and the other not. The sheer agony of the moment before relieved by great and hopeful joy. Tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy and hope. The day it happens both wonderful and heartbreaking. Wonderful to behold and a place of deep awe, heartbreaking for those who do not want HIM, our Shalom. We are redeemed, not bound by the rules or games of this world. We live by something far far better. We are called and set apart, a remnant that is a city sitting on a hill welcoming those in who are lost in the dark and the cold; even time in human history when there has been good there has been GOD working in the middle and in the places where it seems darkest we know HE is at work, holding the hurting and working to give hope to those lost. This will not always be so; one day, very soon I'd imagine and pray for, the choice will be had. Don't let your heart be hardened, soften it, humble yourself before The LORD; rest in the shadow of HIS wing and have hope because in all that is going on we have a hope. We have our KING, not some detach religion thing, but a deep and meaningful relationship with the Lover of our very soul, The Maker, Author, and Finisher of our faith. I know, it's a lot of terms that may seem like "christianese" don't see them as such, think about each word, what it means, just Who HE IS. This is the GOD who we want all people to come to and called upon as KING. Not because of a fear of hell but of heartbreak for not wanting to be really and truly loved. What the world gives it can take away, what GOD gives, nothing can. And HE moves from blessing to blessing; when we trust HIM in the jump between swings. The space between baby steps. Being held close by the ONE who is already holding us. It's not some religion thing, it's not some fear game, it's a begging plead, before it's to late, come to HIM, come to hold to the ONE Who loves you more than you will ever know or fathom, because He Is I AM. HE wants us more than we know, and all we need to do is turn to HIM and walk so please, please, walk friend and go send and shine, Let the world see nobody but JESUS, our Merciful KING.
