MASSIVE 7ft Kingsnake Found in California! #shorts

A 7 foot long California Kingsnake was recently found in Southern California! Kingsnakes are a nonvenomous constrictor that grow to around 5ft in length. They mainly eat rodents, frogs, lizards, and other snakes, even venomous rattlesnakes. Endemic to the western U.S. and northern Mexico most specimens found in the wild are typically around 4ft. Last month, while planting trees in a wildlife conservation area in Liberty Canyon, members of the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority spotted this massive 7ft kingsnake at the site of the future Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing, which will connect the Simi Hills to the Santa Monica Mountains via a 210-foot vegetated overpass that will span the Ventura Freeway. Expected to be complete in 2023, this bridge will be the largest urban wildlife crossing of its kind! More than long enough to accommodate this beast of a kingsnake!
