Southwest Forced Boeing To Hide MCAS From FAA & World Regulators To Avoid Costly Pilot Training

The Missing Piece Of The MAX Puzzle: In 2015 when the Boeing Max was still in flight testing, Boeing's largest Max customer Southwest Airlines was given unprecedented access to the development of the training procedures for the new plane. Mostly because Southwest had given Boeing their largest firm order in the company's history. So Boeing ordered their team to include Southwest's input on all aspects of pilot training. It was this access that led to Southwest making some covert cost-saving demands that would lead to Boeing's suppressing the existence of the new MCAS flight control software which was ultimate at fault for what would become of the Boeing Max program.
