Need to Know News (31 August 2022) with Dean Henderson

We began with the nuclear power plant in Ukraine, which the Russians have decoupled from the Ukrainian electrical grid. Now Ukraine will face the same bleak prospects of a cold winter as the other European nations that have sanctioned Russia and refused to pay for gas in rubles, where the sanctions have backfired and harmed NATO nations and the US instead of harming Russia. The ruble, for example, is at its strongest against the dollar in decades--and will continue to improve. Russia is making show but steady progress taking pains to spare harming the civilian population. We also discussed JFK and 9/11 and Donald J. Trump, where Dean places more responsibility on London than do I, but where we are in general agreement across the board. The massive influx of immigrants--where 4.9 million have crossed the Border in Biden's first 18 months in office--is equal to the population of Ireland. Stunning. We had excellent calls from Paul in CA, Brian in MO, and Bruce in TX. Dean was excellent and articulate and highly informed.
