The Focus was fixed to top condition during the allotted time inside the service tent before the start of this stage run. I looked to push the Focus aggressively through the straight sections of narrow and muddy gravel road of this short and flowing stage under rainy weather conditions. I committed a few errors that caused notable damage to the Focus, and also slowed my pace down drastically during these moments.
