So should influencers get taxed on the free products that they receive? Well, in case you don't know, the influencer industry worldwide is worth $14 million because that's one of the best marketing channels you have for your business.

Instead of going out there and advertising, you can just pay an influencer who already has an audience that trusts them. And this way, you're not wasting money on ads with people who may not even buy anything.

Most influencers are promoting just about anything that they can get their hands on. But what's going to happen is if influencers start getting taxed even for the free products they received, either, they're going to have to be very selective with the products they review because if they receive something, they're going to have to return it.

The real question is, how do you enforce it? How do you enforce someone on getting something for free when there's no money being expedited?

Should these influences be taxed for receiving free products? Or should they only be taxed when they receive money from these companies?
