There are a number of evil ones who need approval from their peers. They congratulate themselves and hope others do the same. This isn’t for a job well done. It’s for the appearance of a job well done, but in reality it’s in the service of the state. They might even present themselves as impartial and judges. All they’re looking to do is satisfy their own ego, and the ego of their employer. You’re not their concern.
