Did you know states have passed laws tying themselves to other states' decisions? - 8/31/22

In a move that sounds bonkers, Virginia passed a law in 2021, when led by Democrats, that tied them to California's emissions standards moving forward.

So when the nation's most liberal state banned gas-powered automobiles by 2035, Virginia effectively did the same.

Now that Republicans are in charge in the state, Governor Glenn Youngkin has told Fox News' Tucker Carlson that he plans to overturn that law because Virginians should make Virginia's laws.

Seems reasonable.

Are there other states that have done this with any other laws?
