Influencer and male empowerment guru Andrew Tate was unceremoniously booted from two major social media platforms Friday, with the Meta Corporation vaguely attributing his banning to violations of its “dangerous person” policy. On Friday, Meta’s two social media companies Facebook and Instagram simultaneously decided to remove Tate, offering little more than to say he breached policies on “dangerous organizations and individuals.” If the policy sounds familiar, that’s because it was the same excuse the corporation used to censor Infowars founder Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson and other right-wing personalities back in 2018.
