(Very Rare) Atomkraft - Queen Of Death [Pre-Release Original Album Version 1986]

This is a rip from one of my own tape cassettes, it is the original full tracklisting for the album queen of death in 1986 which included the songs future warriors and warzone.. with new vocals from ian swift. The album for some reason emitted these two songs and therefore was released as an EP, tony dolan had left atomkraft in 1986 and was replaced by singer ian swift and bassist darren cooper, the album was also recorded with a new producer kevin ridley. The songs queen of death and protector were written by me and swifty while the other tracks had been co-written with tony dolan before his departure. The album got a healthy 4 stars out of 5 in the uk's Kerrang magazine.. a marked improvent from our debut album which a year before had got kerrang's lowest ever scoring of minus 1.. But their is a story behind that which is ancient history anyway. This revamped Atomkraft was a massive step up for the band in songwriting musicianship and production which i think we lost when for the next album "conductors of noise" tony dolan returned and replaced darren cooper on bass. That's not a personal dig i just think it is in my opinion what happened, however in 1988 darren cooper was asked back in the band and dolan moved onto rythm guitar, and i think that queen of death vibe came back into the band and really as this five piece we sounded the best we ever did... its just unfortunate that this final line up never released an album.
