The Whistler Radio Show was a popular American radio program that aired from May 16, 1942 to September 22, 1955.

The show was dramatized and produced by John Dunning and starred William Conrad as the titular character, "The Whistler". The show's theme music, "Strange Fascination", was composed by Doris Day.

Each episode of The Whistler Radio Show began with the sound of a man whistling, followed by the opening narration: "I am the Whistler, and I know many things, because I walk by night. I know many strange tales hidden in the hearts of men and women who have stepped into the shadows. Yes, I know the nameless terrors of which they dare not speak."

The show then featured a self-contained dramatized story, usually with a twist ending.

The Whistler Radio Show was one of the most popular radio programs of its time, attracting millions of listeners each week.

It was nominated for two Grammy Awards and won a Peabody Award in 1954. After the show ended in 1955, it continued to be broadcast on various radio stations across the United States until 1976.
