Hey, this is Josh with dream body clinic here. Today you're going to see a returning patient. We had fixed his shoulder up years ago, and now he's had some back issues. It's been dealing with it for a while, but it's just progressively gotten worse. He's up from Seattle like me and he works at a tech company where you're sitting all day and it tends to put pressure on your back.
Sometimes people aren't getting up walking enough and the back just starts to degenerate. Usually with this, we start seeing herniated disc down lumbar spine, and there's not much you can do about a herniated disc. Sometimes surgeons will go in and know, put in some rods, and fuse bones. None of it is fun. None of it usually works properly. Usually, people end up with a lot of scar tissue. And now you got less mobility. So not the best options. Fortunately, mesenchymal stem cells have been found to really help with this. We have a process that's a bit different than most places. It isn't just putting stem cells in.
We've found there's a treatment that's been approved over in Spain. It's approved in Poland and in China since the 1980s, where they go into the disk under a fluoroscopic guidance in the operating room and they can go right into the disc and inject. Ozone is just oxygen three molecules, uh, oh three.
And what it does when you injected into the disc, there's enzymes, it reacts with and shrinks that disc. So, when you're thinking about a herniated disc that your, the vertebrae, here's a disc in between and its skin squished, and it's kind of popping out like the ice cream on an ice cream scene.
Press on it. That's pushing on the spinal cord and typically causes nerve pain because of mobility issues from the lumbar spine unit with like real like, and your hips hurt too. It feels like a weird pressure. Just moving. You have to go much slower. You feel like an old man or old woman, like overnight when this happens.
And I know it's happened to me. So. Fortunately, we can go in there to, if it's more than one disc, we just do more than one disc at the same time. We also, while we're in there, we inject mesenchymal stem cells because the ozone is going to shrink it. But now you've got a problem. That's called stenosis.
Your disc is too small. So, to fix that, we inject mesenchymal stem cells into that disc 25 million, which will help it to regenerate and regrow over time. Usually, three to six months. Post-treatment if we can get that back to its normal size. So, this helps almost immediately the patient you're going to see here.
He's already been posting on his Facebook account and stuff that all the nerve pain down his leg has gone typical with sciatica. You feel like, feels like you have a cattle rod, your femur, it's terrible. He's already got relief there. Stamp the pool feeling good. It it's just awesome. So, this treatment works incredibly well for cervical spine, which is.
Or lumbar spine, the lower part, unfortunately, your thoracic spine, apart in the middle there, it's just too high of a risk of punctured a lung or anything. So, we cannot do it there, but cervical and lumbar, we can. And that's typically where herniated disc occurs anyways because those are more of the compression points.
So, it hurts to have that kind of pain. And there's not a lot of good options. Fortunately, you can come down here to port of. Meet with our doctors, get an MRI. See exactly what's going on and then get treated. And you walk out of the hospital the same day. It's that simple. So, if you'd like to learn more, give us a call it's toll free at (833) 445-9089.
