I hated reading when I was young.

Especially when my teachers wanted me to read a specific list of books during the summer vacation.

Later on, when I dropped out of university at the age of 18–19, I figured I have nothing else to do so I started reading books and found out I actually love reading books.

I just love reading books that are interesting to me.

More specifically I found I love reading non-fiction.

Just recently I turned 25 and when I looked at the spreadsheet on which I track every book I’ve read, I saw I read the 1000th book literally on the day I turned 25.

Here are 5 lessons I learned.
