Reacting to General McKenzie’s testimony stating he told President Biden to leave 2,500 troops in Afghanistan, Gold Star Mother Shana Chappell believes the General is trying to “save his own butt”, saying “after all, he surrendered Bagram Air Base to the Taliban.”
