Veliki pomor ribe dogodio se u sustavu obnovljenih vodenih opkopa Tvrđave Brod. Stotine kilograma uginule ribe pluta površinom vode, a okolinom se širi intenzivan i vrlo neugodan miris riblje truleži. Riječ je uglavnom o slatkovodnoj ribi tolstolobik. Uginuli primjerci teški su i preko desetak kilograma.
