Unreal Tournament (Dreamcast) Gameplay (RetroTINK 2X Pro)

This one is by request. I'm pretty sure I didn't show ever map requested, but I don't have a lot of time to devote just to UT.

The DC version of UT allows more bots than the PS2 version, and has a better framerate as well, but without the keyboard an mouse setup, it can take quite a bit of getting used to. I don't own a DC mouse. The game makes up for it with copious amounts of auto aim.

Overall, this was a great port for it's time, it had 8-player deathmatches on the DC over 56K connections, whereas Quake III only had 4-players. It runs decently, even with the full number of bots allowed, and plays well enough. With the DC controller, I chose the Turok style control setup where you have to hit up on the D-pad to use the secondary fire, so suffice it to say that using the Link gun is out of the question.

I enjoy popping this in for some fun bot DM gameplay every time I have my DC hooked up. I would say that the bot DM is way more fun in UT for the DC than it is in Quake III. I also love the music and the atmosphere in UT, and the original Unreal as well. Solid game for some bot DM. The DC didn't get a lot of good FPS games before it died as Half-Life was cancelled at the time. I know you can still get it now, but at the time, it sucked for DC owners.
