Delicious Canned Apple Pie Filling | Every Bit Counts Challenge Day 29
It's day 29 of the Every Bit Counts Challenge and today Kristy is walking you through how to water bath can apple pie filling. This is a great way to use up those extra apples you have laying around and turn them into a delicious shelf-stable treat to stock your pantry and increase your food storage! Ingredients:
-6lbs apples
-4 1/2 cups sugar
-1 cup ClearJel
-1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
-a pinch ground cloves
-2 teaspoons salt
-10 cups water
-3 Tablespoons lemon juice
