We start with another kind of "old time" adventure in this one, with a tour of forest primeval...from the top down! Florida's natural features have long beckoned settlers to the Sunshine State, people who left a legacy of cool vintage goods that we explore at our next stop!

It's time to go to work and revamp/restock my booth at St. Petersburg, Florida's Vintage Modern mall, and I pack it with the best variety of freshly found vintage designer furniture (Salterini loveseat, anyone?), Blenko designer glass, fun vintage games and terrific Sascha Brastoff Rooftops dishware! (Not that we're name dropping.)

Then it's time to survey the rest of this ever-changing vintage mall, where several new dealers are helping this place maintain its status as a serious mid-century collector's destination! A tremendous selection of vintage costume jewelry and restyled furniture fill one space, another has wild 1970s Chalet and Empoli glass, another a selection of designer seating by Umanoff, McCobb and Knobler...so much great fresh vintage stock in one place!

We leave behind our deco bird and go enjoy a birdwalk as we end this one in the tranquil place we started. Travel and antiquing are great to do together!
