Reacting to General McKenzie’s recent testimony stating he told President Biden to leave 2,500 troops in Afghanistan, Gold Star Mom Shana Chappell believes the General is trying to “save his own butt”, saying “after all, he surrendered Bagram Air Base to the Taliban.”
