His Parents Were Enslaved in Concentration Camps

At an event in downtown Vancouver (August 20/22), marking the 75th Anniversary of the Nuremberg verdict, Chester Ptasinski spoke of his parents' enslavement in concentration camps during World War II, the Nazi doctor Aribert Heim, and how the four-year horror stayed with them as PTSD. Chester remembers his father's warning to him as a 10-year-old boy, that this could happen again in Canada.
