The case for the FBI raid on former US president Donald Trump's Florida home is "fairly weak", says The Australian's Washington Correspondent Adam Creighton.
A 38-page affidavit outlining the reasons behind the raid of Mr Trump's property, found that of the 184 classified documents, 25 were marked as "TOP SECRET", 67 were marked as "confidential" and 92 marked "secret".
"I think the government should have used other avenues to try to get them back, such as a subpoena, or a district court judge order to secure the documents more carefully," Mr Creighton told Paul Murray.
