Lioness Gets Warthog Taken By Rival Pride | Maasai Mara Safari | Zebra Plains

A lone Enkoyonai lioness with a warthog meal was acting very nervously. Two lionesses from the topi pride arrived chased her off and took her dinner!

Warthogs provide a large percentage of lions meals outside of the migration season in Kenya but this was during the migration so a less common meal choice.

Filmed on a safari I hosted for Wild Extracts in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
