Jerusalem Old City seller attacks US tourist over ice cream price

The owner of an ice cream store in Jerusalem’s Old City was indicted on Sunday for assaulting an American tourist earlier this month during an argument over the price of the customer’s purchase. The Times of Israel reported.

The incident happened on August 19 at around noon, when police responded to reports of an assault in the Old City of Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Post reports.

The tourist, an American citizen in his fifties, was slightly injured and was taken to receive medical attention with lacerations on his head. The Israel National News reported.
