Organize VA Tasks

I have these interns, and I'm trying to keep them busy. And I missed what you said, but do you have any suggestions if you're onboarding somebody new, like an intern or a VA, what you can do and have them help?

I'm going through this process right now as we speak. What I have done, Bonita, and this may or may not work for you depending on the type
of work you're having them do. I created a separate Google Calendar
and I called it Virtual Assistant. I made it a red color, so it stands out on
my calendar when I'm looking at it. And then I shared that specific
calendar with my virtual assistant. And what I'm putting on that calendar
are tasks that I want her to complete. Last night, we had a phone call
and I explained this whole thing to her. She verified that she has access to the calendar. She verified that she can see the things that I put on there.
and she's a Google Calendar user already. So when I add something new,
she gets a little reminder that something new has been added. So that's the method that I am trying. I've been doing it for a whole whopping week.
So stay tuned. In a month or so, I will let you know how smooth or not smooth it's going. But that seems like the easiest, most cost-effective because it's a free method of doing that. Did that help, Bonita?

Yeah. Does she see your other things on your calendar too?

No. Because I have them in a separate calendar. Google Calendar allows you
to create multiple calendars. So I have my appointment calendar which is connected to my CRM, I now have the virtual assistant calendar, and then I have everything else Dotty is doing in a calendar. The only one that she sees
is the one that I shared with her, which is the VA Calendar. I just have to be mindful when I add something to my calendar that I'm putting it into the right one.
