Elderberries and Stir-fry Melange! 8-24-22

Today, I tackled the elderberry jungle. Oh, boy...I have a video from another year showing how to make jelly or syrup. The easiest way (and least messy way) to remove the berries from the stems is to freeze the whole clusters and then just shake the berries free! I have far too many elderberries! I need to try making elderberry gummies this year...if any of you have had success with that, let me know!

And then, Stan keeps picking peppers (almost a tongue-twister) along with some snow peas--time to freeze a beautiful stir-fry melange! Garden seasoning is winding down...hope you've also had a fruitful year!

To my 9th grade students watching this...yes, I'll try to remember to make more coffee chocolate bark and bring it in this week!
