Lions Reunite (Bila-Shaka Males)| Maasai Mara Safari | Zebra Plains

Kibogoyo of the Bila-shaka lion coalition crosses the plains of the mara one morning before giving a mighty roar and joining a second lion from the same coalition, Kiok.
These are two of the six 9at the time, now five) male lions making up the Bila-Shaka coalition. All sons of Lolparpit and Olbarnoti. They controlled the Marsh lion pride and Topi lion pride at the time of filming. Currently they are mostly seen in the Northern part of Mara triangle with occasional forays into the Paradise area of the main reserve.
The lion roar sound can be heard by humans for 8Km. Lions can hear another roaring lion from twice that distance
