Art For The Kid's Sake

10cc and Steely Dan go at it today for the Segue City Special with 10cc doing a live version of one of their hits, "Art For Art's Sake" while Steely Dan are noodling around with "Kid Charlemagne"... because it's all about the money and not the art when you get right down to it... even the woke corporations are learning that the hard way right now... you know that saying - "get woke, go broke"... well it's true because in the end, art (like beauty) is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
