Feminist new outlet REDUXX Mag, started by Genevieve Gluck and Anna Spatz has been keeping us updated about the situation unfolding in Port Townsend Washington where a woman was BANNED from the YMCA after confronting a trans identifying male employee for being in the women’s locker room where little girls were getting undressed. During a rally in which she gave a speech to a small gathering of women in protest of her ban from the YMCA, 80 year old JULIE JAMAN appears to be ASSAULTED by a rabid mob of Trans Privilege Activists who showed up to protest the feminist gathering. Police are shown standing across the street, refusing to intervene as women are mobbed and attacked by an increasingly aggressive crowd of counter protesters. REDUXX mag, who has been following the story, posted several disturbing clips of the apparently violent and aggressive behavior of the Trans Privilege Activists (TPA’s) on their Twitter account. The posts garnered thousands of likes and retweets, and though they were NOT in breech of Twitter’s policy’s of conduct, REDUXX’s Twitter account was removed by Twitter without explanation. The women of REDUXX filed an appeal and won, and the account was reinstated. What’s clear from both the protests and the actions taken by the social media platforms, is that women are under extreme censorship from speaking out about their fears and concerns regarding males in women’s private spaces. But women are speaking anyway, and we won’t be silenced!! Special thanks to Jennifer Thomas, Gabrielle Clarke, Amy Sousza, Genevieve Gluck, Anna Slatz, and most of all, to Julie Jaman for remaining steadfast And HOLDING THE LINE!!! Well done ladies!!
