Winter Greenhouse Maintenance | The Not So Fun Part Of Winter Homesteading

Winter can be a very challenging time around the homestead. Today I am focusing on greenhouse maintenance, meaning, removing 3 feet of snow off the top of our hoop house greenhouse. Winter tends to be the most trying time for me as there is still plenty of work to do, but there is very little immediate rewards. Winter time with a hoop house greenhouse can be exhausting, and if you have ever had to keep the greenhouse cleared of snow you will know what I am talking about. What are some of your winter maintenance chores around your homestead? What do you do to maintain your greenhouse in the winter? Removing the snow from the greenhouse in the winter is a must if you have a hoop house like ours as they can collapse easily.
