This season we have had significant melting of snow in a very short time which has caused some challenges around the homestead, including the chicken coop. Chickens need to have a well ventilated coop along with a dry area, free from moisture to prevent some life threatening issues. The fact that we have run in to this challenge worries me. Thankfully we should only have about another month left of snow. This video gives you some great lessons and tips on how to build, prepare and plan your chicken coop design.
