Ron Johnson is in some hot water. and he is facing I think a formidable challenger in Mandela Barnes in Wisconsin. He's in hot water because the January 6 committee essentially revealed that a top aide to him sent a text message to a top aide for vice president mike pence but right before the electoral college was supposed to be certified on January 6. And the committee basically showed this message from one of the aides where minutes before the certification was supposed to happen the aide reached out saying that hey we'll give Mike Pence fake electors from Wisconsin and Michigan as a way to I mean could keep. Yeah right I mean like I will be the tip of the spear in the senate here. Ron Johnson will be. To overturn the election. One of Pence's staffers responded and said don't give that to him. Which I think is another fascinating wrinkle there too. But look Pence wanted to do this for Trump. It just was literally impossible. But Ron Johnson is too stupid to know that. and here he is being asked in the middle of this tough election reelection fight that he's in about his role on January 6th.
