Some showers and isolated thunderstorms moved into our area this afternoon. It was a battle between the moisture moving in from the west, and high pressure with its try air to the east. We had the chance of rain, but the models were back and forth on if the rain would actually make it in here and it sure did. Steady rain showers end tonight but we can't rule out a stray shower here or there. Temperatures will remain mild in the mid 60s. More showers and storms are expected across the area once again for our Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 70s under a steady south wind at 5-15 mph. It will get a bit toasty on Monday. We climb into the upper 80s with a chance of showers or storms in the morning, followed by mostly sunny skies in the late afternoon. Following this period of showers and storms, dry weather takes its place with mid to upper 70s Tuesday through Saturday.
