Watch Before Playing The Saints Row Reboot...

I talk about the new Saints Row Reboot
There's a new Saints Row sequel launching in August and it's hard to determine if we should be excited or not. Saints Row is getting a reboot in terms of a name, but seems to be riffing on all the old Saints Row 3 and Saints Row 4 ridiculousness.

The Saints Row Reboot Gameplay looks promising in terms of third-person shooter action but does it retain the personality and crime sandbox fun of games like Saints Row 2? With Volition's recent failed attempts at games within the Saints Row universe like Saints Row Boss Factory, Saints Row IV, and even Agents of Mayhem, you would think they would try to go back to the roots of what made the franchise successful in the first place. Instead, straight out of the gate in the Saints Row Reboot Character Creation, it becomes immediately clear that this game will be yet another goofy clown-fest. Saints Row 2022 seems to barely be a reboot by any stretch of the imagination, except for maybe the storyline and characters themselves. You'll see in my Saints Row Reboot Reaction that if you're a fan of the original Saints Row 1 and Saints Row 2 style of art, tone, and gameplay, that you'll be very disappointed.
