Shred Your "Fantasy Blanket"

I spent the majority of my childhood in my head.

There's a comfort in fantasy & daydreaming, especially if you ever struggled with anxiety in the past.

Being in a reality of your making was often your only recluse from the outside world.

You can honestly be there forever.

The only tradeoff is that you'll most likely become increasingly bitter over the years, as your external real life falls apart while being in a permeant state of perpetual delusion because now any other option is too painful.

There's a silent courage in truly going after what you want, that nobody will ever see.

Even if it's only an itch at a time...

I rather slowly inch forward, then remain another second trapped in delusion.
