Today we are giving you an update on the secret to great tasting Haskaps! We previously harvested our haskaps a few weeks ago and they were bitter and sour. However a viewer shared with us the secret to great tasting haskpas. We planted our haskaps about 2-4 years ago, and this is our first large harvest. We have also gotten a bowl or two here and there, or the chickens would eat them, but this year the haskaps are in abundance for multiple harvests! The Haskaps, or Honeyberries, are great for Canada's cold climate as they are geared for zones 2-3 making this a must for all home gardeners and homesteaders in Canada.
