ANTIQUE BOOTH TRICKS & TIPS | RESELLER REFRESHES & REDISPLAYS

Two vintage shows, two nearby cities, two weekends running! Whether it's antique mall spaces or my show booths in West Palm Beach and Venice, Florida, a lot of thought goes in to making sure collectors see different things each time they visit...even if there's not time to gather a lot of different things.

So what do we do? We use a lot of methods to make each show different from the last! Changing out furniture, flipping which side of the booth we set up with jewelry/boudoir, adding fresh stock and moving things from floor at one show to eye-level at another all help keep collectors tantalized, even if they just saw you last week!

The results show in this video, where we show items that sold and realized prices from week to week. A big ship's binnacle, a Stangl shell vase, a puppet from Thailand...all are items that went unnoticed in one show but sold the next. We share all the tips and tricks of the trade, in hopes that real world resellers (show and mall booth) see what a difference you can make by remerchandising! We don't mind sharing these tricks with our collectors either, we know that mixing it up keeps you interested and carries the eye to places it's never seen before.

Here's some of the goodies we added from one week to the next:

Pepsi and Coke trays, soda fountain ephemera, Holmegaard bowl, Stangl Terra Rose vase, vintage costume jewelry, Strathearn paperweight, tintypes and photos, Heywood Wakefield furniture, tramp art mini dresser, Icart print, Illinois pocket watch, 1905 cherub tray, modernist chip-and-dip set, flamingoes, Limoges platter, Anita Bryant signed photo, dart board, panther ceramic sculpture, Lladro eskimo, 1950s sporting magazines, hippie era crewel work, Jake Edwards burl sculpture, etc.
