Front Headlock Crucifix - Neck Crank Control To Pass Guard & Submit

The Crucifix Neck Crank is a brutal finishing submission that can be set up from the Cow Catcher as you transition to the Front Crucifix which is also known as the Full Stocks or Double Arm Bar position. I breakdown some of the entries and ways this powerful hold can be used to manipulate and break the posture of your opponent and then use it to land a takedown, sweep, pass the guard and submit them. Although you will find that this particular position and neck crank is a banned technique in a lot of grappling competitions so be careful!

The position is often called a Reverse full nelson, and I thought it was too when I first started looking at it, but this is technically incorrect as that is when you have two overhooks on the opponent and not two underhooks as we see here.
