AWESOME MCM DESIGNERS! | VINTAGE HAUL GOES TO MALL | RESELLER

Mid-century modern designs are hot! My find of a Dyrlund Danish bar leads me to haul it into Vintage Modern St. Pete, one of my favorite centers for buying and selling MCM name-brand goods. I've got some great fresh stock in my space, and the mall's got some great new dealers with fabulous mod housewares, art and furniture that are at the vanguard of today's collecting!

Come see what I've found, then shop with me around this tremendous vintage emporium, where furniture designed by everyone from Mies Van der Rohe of Bauhaus to brutalist Paul Evans is matched with terrific MCM housewares. We learn about Murano (and its fakes), celebrate 1950s movie poster artist Reynold Brown and learn about a few famous women whose major sculptures were matched by miniature versions we can enjoy in our homes today.

Modernism started over a century ago, so we see a few true antiques (one dating back 2000 years!) whose originality and style make them appropriate for a 21st century home. From boho to Pueblo, Art Deco to Hawaiian kitsch, this is (as the new customer in the photo said), "the most awesome place!"
