Amboseli Elephants Incl. Super-Tusker Craig At A Waterhole | Zebra Plains Safari

Amboseli super-tusker elephant Craig and some other elephant bulls visit a waterhole close to the road. Elephants can drink over 200 litres of water a day, they will also use the water to cool their body by spraying it over themselves, especially behind the ears. Craig is one of the last remaining super-tusker elephants in Africa. Luckily Amboseli elephants are well protected and Craig has passed on his genetics many times, there are tuskers of both sexes in Amboseli and quite a few of the young tusker bulls will probably reach super-tusker status as they age
