Fancy is a very sweet, 11.1 hh, red roan pony mare
She is a registered Welsh, but we’ve lost her papers so we are selling as grade.
We believe she is 16 - 17 years of age (again we’ve lost her papers), we have had her 4 years.
She is good to catch (most of the time), tie, haul, tack up, super good ground manners, she has good bare-feet, and is good for the farrier.
She is 100% sound, has absolutely no health issues or special needs.
She has never foundered, and in fact we can put her out in the pasture with the big horses.
She has done EVERYTHING!!! More GO than WHOA!!
She has done at least 2 years of 4H, riding lessons, games, & shows with our grandchildren
She’s been in parades, done ski-joring, lots & lots of trail rides including rivers, and countless hours in the arena.
She’s been ridden English, western, & bareback, jumping, & obstacles.
She is the perfect “lead-line” pony and doesn’t even require the lead line, as she is happy to follow someone on foot or horse.
If she gets mixed/confused messages from a little rider she goes to the nearest adult.
If a child can give clear instruction she can be ridden independently and is not herd bound.
She can be speedy if the child wants, but is happy to walk quietly.
If she was taller, or our grandkids smaller, she would not be for sale. Our family will be very sad to see her go.
