In this largely unknown bit of US history, we learn that the Pearl Harbor attack was not a surprise to Franklin Roosevelt. In fact, there were secret US government plans for US fighter jets disguised as Chinese planes to attack major Japanese cities 5 months before Pearl Harbor so that Japan would retaliate, and Roosevelt had a pretext to get the US into the war against Germany. This information was declassified in 1970, yet US history books have not adjusted the official narrative.
