An exact replica of the Admiral Ushakov destroyer sailed down the Dnieper River in a secret expedition planned and directed by a team from Readovka news. The ship was launched in the hero city of Smolensk back in July after sea trials and technical preparation for the long voyage. It visited Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and other towns, overcoming more than 1700 km of riverway. Foes who attempted to track it down along the way were unsuccessful and failed to stop the epic journey. The model destroyer has been handed over to the authorities of Kherson, and will soon take its place in the exposition of a museum devoted to Russian history.
