My Aunt (soprano) and Grandmother have performed this song every Christmas for 35 years. I wanted to include it in my recital as a tribute to my Granddaddy, William Sudekum, who passed away in April 2009. This was his favorite song and he loved hearing his daughter sing and his wife play!
