Moderna sues Pfizer and BioNTech over mRNA patents

Moderna sues Pfizer and BioNTech for patent infringement over Covid
vaccine mRNA technology. The suit -- filed Friday -- alleges Pfizer and BioNTech copied Moderna’s M-R-N-A technology in the making of their Covid vaccine, “Comirnaty.” Moderna says that technology was critical in developing its own Covid vaccine, “Spike-vax.” And that Pfizer and BioNTech used that technology without Moderna's permission.
