During the offseason, the Celtics got Bill Sharman. In the 1951-52 season, the Celtics continued to improve, winning 39 -27, just one victory short of the Eastern Conference No. 1. Coucy's average is also up across the board. In the first round of the playoffs, Nix won in overtime in Game 3.
