Junior first became involved in the music industry in the late 70s. The albums which he made for Polygram and MCA and his own Labels, StepOff Records and HI-Quest Ventures, shines a light on the style of music that's made him an International star. His music makes you want to get up and dance, to being sophisticated mellow and very soulful, the kind of music you can play anywhere anytime and enjoy.

Junior wrote and performed "Mama Used to Say" a track that established Junior as a bankable writer for many other acts. Junior earned the distinction of being the first British black performer on Soul Train.

The new track is called, "Who’s Been School’in U" and is produced by Walter Chancellor Jr. Walter is a professional saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, educator, arranger, mentor and music producer. Walter Chancellor Jr. has been a mainstay in the Twin Cities contemporary Jazz and R&B music scene for the past 25 years. After constant touring during his formative years he decided to relocate to musically successful Minneapolis from Des Moines, Iowa and lessen the necessity of so much traveling to perform.

This is Walter and Junior's first appearance on the Break It Down Show with Pete A Turner. Jon Leon Guerrero is hosting this episode.
